Mark has been with Sanctuary since its imagining in 2009. He comes to Marshfield after a brief time wandering the world as a musician, working with faith communities in Columbus, OH and Berkeley, CA, and eventually graduating with a Masters of Divinity degree from Trinity Lutheran Seminary. A Starbucks junkie, irregular disc golfer and aspirant song-writer, he can often be found plunking away on his trusty MacBook in a coffee shop, building something, or out enjoying all the beauty of the South Shore.
Sarah has served as the creative director at Sanctuary since 2010. She is a classically trained violinist, but plays a ridiculous number of instruments and holds a Masters of Arts degree in Church Music. She spends most of her days teaching or playing music with kids and adults of all ages. When not making music, she's also a web designer extraordinaire. At Sanctuary she wrangles musicians, teaching music at Pudding Hill, occasionally takes a sledge hammer to an old piano to make art, and generally keeps everyone thinking outside the box. When not at Sanctuary she can be found geocaching or snuggling with Graham (the dog) or Connor (he's a cat).
